Many people in pain fall into the trap of chasing the cure for chronic pain. That one thing to fix everything. I've done it myself. Unfortunately, it doesn't really exist. A lot of those "cures" end up being passive treatment options that can be quite costly. At their worst, these "snake oils" and false hopes can do true harm, at best, they don't do very much. Taking an active, self-management approach to your care can be one tool to manage a life well-lived with pain.

Increasing your tools to self-manage gives you more control over your pain and functioning. There isn't often one magic pill, but there are options to increase self-efficacy. Making that change can be scary sometimes. That's where having someone like me and/or another compassionate provider on your side to coach you through those tough times can help. That is until you gain more confidence.
I would love nothing more than to help you on your journey. We can use a combination of pain education, goal setting, pacing, graded exposure to activities, movement and resistance exercise as well as monitoring stress and sleep. Comprehensive care is best done on a team and working with other professionals or referrals to other services may need to be made.
No one's coming to fix you, but let's work together to figure out how to live life better.
